Tarot cards are a divination tool that can help guide in receiving intuitive or psychic messages. Brenda's tarot deck feels like an extension of her energy, a living force that asks to communicate, and the cards make the messages known.
Brenda specializes in using Lenormand Tarot Cards. Lenormand Tarot Cards have been around for two hundred years. The Lenormand deck is comprised of 36 cards, each with its own unique meaning, and each card is laid out on a Grand Tableau. The Grand Tableau will give detailed answers about multiple topics in your life. It’s an excellent spread if you want a deeper understating of your life in terms of love, work, family and health.
History of Lenormand Cards
Marie Anne Adelaide Le Normand (1772-1843) was born in Normandy. She was orphaned at the age of five and sent to Benedictine convent school, where legend has it, she already exhibited prophetic talents. She moved to Paris in 1786 at the age of 14, and as her reputation as a fortune teller and card reader grew, she became the most famous fortuneteller in Europe during the Napoleonic era.
She was accurate enough in her fortune-telling that she was suspected of being a traitor or spy within the court and incarcerated more than once. Le Normand used a variety of divinatory methods, including palmistry, numerology, scrying, and a special talisman. For cartomancy, she used an ordinary pack of 32 French Piquet cards and a German 36-card deck. In addition, she may have used the Tarot deck, The Grand Etteilla, as well as a traditional French Tarot.
Mlle. Le Normand’s fame rests on the fact that she was the author of 14 best-selling books, in which she described her career and her dealings with her famous clients. Her clients included Marat, Robespierre, Czar Alexander, and most famously the Empress Josephine. Le Normand is credited with predicting the rise and the fall of Napoleon. In fame, she is comparable to the 20th century psychic Jeane Dixon (1904-1997), who was famous for having predicted the assassination of President Kennedy.
